My Story

As a child and young adult, I dealt with a lot of frustrations with the medical community. I wasn't taken seriously. I was told they didn't know what was wrong with me, that I should come back when it gets worse, and even that my symptoms were in my head and I needed to see a psychologist.

So I stopped going to doctors.

When I became a parent and started seeing similar patterns of illness in my own kids, and started hearing the same answers when it came to their health, I knew immediately that that way of doing things was not good enough for my children, and I searched out a different way.
I began studying herbalism in 2013, and since then have used herbs (alongside conventional medicine) for my own care, for my family's care, and even for the care of my pets and livestock.

In 2019 I finished my Advanced Herbalism course, and began working toward doing clinical work with clients.
My Practice

I believe plants are a gift from the Creator, and I practice herbalism that way. I don't practice plant magic, mysticism, green witchcraft, pagan practices, astrology, or the like.
I practice Traditional Western Herbalism, which means I look for patterns in your health and constitution and make recommendations for herbal supports and lifestyle improvements.

It’s 100% your choice whether or not to make these changes. I encourage you to educate yourself about any treatment plans you adopt – conventional and/or natural – and about the health concerns you’re addressing. I can help lead you to quality information and education. It's up to you to take the leap and hold the reins when it comes to your health.

Currently, herbalism is not licensed in the United States, and diagnosing conditions or prescribing treatments is outside my scope of practice. You will need to see a licensed healthcare provider for these services. If we work together, I would be a part of your healthcare team, and I’m happy to work with any of your health practitioners.

It’s my goal to come alongside you and empower you in your journey toward better health.

My Holistic Philosophy
A holistic approach to health means viewing the client as a whole, and not a sum of parts. The goal is to identify root causes and restore balance. Biologically, this means understanding how the body's systems interact, and how herbal remedies can support and harmonize these processes, targeting underlying imbalances rather than just symptoms. Sociologically, it recognizes the influence of social structures, relationships, and community support on wellness, emphasizing the importance of a supportive environment and healthy relationships. Psychologically, it involves addressing emotional and mental health by identifying stressors and using herbs to enhance mental clarity, emotional stability, and resilience. Spiritually, it involves fostering a sense of purpose, connection, and aligning recommendations with the client's and practitioner's beliefs and values. By integrating these factors, I will work to develop a comprehensive, personalized care plan that addresses the root causes of your health concerns and imbalances, and support overall balance and well-being.
